Twitch streamer Amouranth has revealed she was left injured after her home was ransacked by armed burglars.

Amouranth, whose real name is Kaitlyn Siragusa, raised the alarm with a series of frantic tweets when the armed attackers entered her home.

The streamer, who is also an adult content creator, first posted: “I’m being too robbed at gunpoint,” before adding: “This is not a prank help.”
She later revealed that she had been injured in the fracas, but believes she had managed to shoot and injure one of the intruders herself.
Amouranth told her followers: “I believe I shot one of them they wanted crypto is what they were yelling they pulled me out of bed.
“I’m covered in blood but only some of it is mine I’ll update yall later but I’m safe now.

“Was at gun point they gave me phone and said log in with gun to my head and I tweeted because calling would be a death sentence.”
She added: “They pistol whipped me but I got one. I’m bleeding alot but stable going to hospital.”
The Kick streamer also revealed that the men had shot at her bedroom door before kicking it in, and that the attacker had left a trail of his blood on the scene from where she had shot back at him, which police were DNA testing.
Amouranth revealed that she was limited in what footage she could share due to the investigation, but posted a clip of the immediate aftermath.

The 31-year-old told her followers: “3 gun men. He screams ‘I got shot I got shot’ after. I’m not supposed to post the scene itself, nor the casing which are now evidence.
“They beat me before this video and pistol whipped me the pummeling felt like it would never end and I protected my head by putting my arms up like I Learned how to do in boxing, blood was streaming down my head and my hands where beat brown.
“They brought duct tape and masks and were armed with handguns.”

The attack comes after she had shared details of the value of her Bitcoin wallet on social media, asking her followers whether she should sell the assets which made her a massive $20 million in November last year.
Houston Police issued an appeal for witnesses or those with further information on the incident to come forward, tweeting: “If you have any information related to this aggravated robbery / home invasion, contact the Houston Police Robbery Division or Crime Stoppers of Houston.”
According to reports, medics treated Amouranth on the scene before she was taken to hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Her assistant shared a further update, telling fans: “I’m leaving the house now. Kait is at the hospital with family, and I handled the police with statements, etc.
“The animals are all safe, and Kait will be discharged tonight. She does have injuries. I will be with her in the morning as well, and we [won’t] be alone at any point. There will be security.”
She also slammed those speculating whether the attack was staged, writing: “Whoever is saying this is fake, I can guarantee you this isn’t, and I never want to be this scared again.”
